We are in our 20's just trying to navigate the INSANE world of dating, paying rent and ordering something other than chicken nuggets at restaurants. Both of us are writers and love to tell stories so we decided to try our bit at blogging. Here is a bit about each of us.
Rachel
I'm a Michigan girl, born and raised. I also lived in California for 4 1/2 years so that somehow got me the nickname Cali. I'm now in a little nowhere town named Greeley, Colorado with no friends and no idea how to navigate this new territory of dating. Yikes. In the seven years I've been wandering the dating scene the relationships have been... mmmm let's go with less than ideal. So when I met Ariel and we got to talking, I realized that we have been through some of the same things and we decided to document our crazy lives.
Please, sit back, laugh at our craziness and enjoy the show.

California girl, undeniable AND unforgettable (thanks, Katy Perry!). Life is crazy and I like it that way- but I don't think dating has to be. Too bad it USUALLY IS. So in this sinking ship that is modern dating as a post-college grad, at least Rachel and I have The Great Bucket of Each Other, Some Misplaced Hope and Our Senses of Humor to throw some of the waves of cynicism and insanity out the boat while we wait for the Rescue Crew.
[Fingers crossed they're attractive and mature men... otherwise we're sending them back overboard, too.]
